Splashes and clicks! πŸ’•

This is my first attempt on an art and photography post! Hope you would like it!πŸ˜‡

β™₯Some of my recent splashes!!

This was an attempt of making my own portrait!Β  It seems more or less like me, but ended up more like a caricature of myself πŸ˜†

This is one of my personal favourites!Expression is the first importance for a Kathakali dancer, I guess I’ve nailed it ! I love looking at it’s eyes, I feel it speaks a lot! ❀

Does this cat look ferocious?! I made it today, just when I was making it I got the idea of making an art and photography blog! It took a great deal of time to make it and patience is must!😻

I hope u wouldΒ  have loved my splashes! Feel free to comment on your favourite or any opinions are also welcome! πŸ‘

β™₯Now moving on to Clicks!πŸ“·

I clicked it last year on Karthikai! Festival of lamps,  It is a tamilian festival and my first favourite festival of all time! Every house looks dazzling on that day with beautiful lamps lit all over the house. Walking on street that day is a real pleasure! ❀

A few sky clicks! πŸ’™

Nature is truly beautiful! Capturing this beauty is a real pleasure! πŸ’Ÿ

This isΒ  a self click, very close to heart! It is an accidental click, which involves a lot of dimensions!!! Camera positioning, uplift of hair and dress played a crucial role in the success of this clickπŸ’“πŸ˜

All these clicks were not taken in some expensive cameras, all of these are simple mobile clicks, Though it wasn’t very impressive, I thought these were worth sharing!

Life may not always go as planned, at times we just have to go with the flow❀

No hate, all love

Honey with her splashes and clicksπŸ˜‰

    1. Hey Vinay! Thanks for showing up!! I too have never seen any professional Kathakali dance, my schoolmates have done Kathakali twice! Karthikai is not Diwali, in north during Diwali u light lamps, but in tn we don’t light lamps on Diwali, and history is where krishna kills narakasura! Karthikai comes in month of December, history is related to lord Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma ~β™₯~

      1. Keep it up. You have real talent. I’ve been sharing an old forgotten fairytale on my blog called The Princess and Curdie and I so wish I was artistic and could do illustrations but alas mine would look like stick figures, lol. One of the chapters is about a princess and a lot of green emeralds. I’ve noticed you have a passion for green. πŸ™‚ If you are ever bored and want to draw a Tamil/South Indian emerald princess let me know. One day you might be a professional illustrator. πŸ˜‰ Kids need fairytales that aren’t all about blonde Barbie princesses in my opinion.

      2. πŸ™‚ That’s awesome. Let me quickly look and see which chapter she is in and let you know. Of course the whole story is great but that way you can get started on it without having to read the whole thing. I will totally feature it on my blog! And no pressure! Any attempt will be gorgeous compared to my stick figures, lol.

      3. Okay, I think you will find what you would need to read in The Princess and Curdie Part 8 and 9. It takes place in underground mines and caverns and she appears in both 8 and 9. Good luck and no rush :).

  3. You are very talented. Love your splashes and clicks. My favorite splash is the cat. Love those eyes, I feel like I am looking into the cat’s soul. My favorite click is your self click. I don’t understand how you were able to get that photo. Shows me your playful spirit. πŸ˜ƒ

  4. From the self-portrait of you standing on your hands, I do not thing you look at all like the caricature with the green, black and white face! Oh, that’s the Kathakali dancer. Never mind. πŸ˜‚ Just teasing, of course. The self-portrait you painted is as lovely as you are.
    And phenomenal photography! c.a.
